NAR Certifications & Designations

Accredited Buyer Representative® (ABR) designees advocate for homebuyers, and are recognized as distinguished agents in the industry. The designation program establishes a foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed as a buyer's representative.

Learn to work effectively with – and within – today’s diverse real estate market. The At Home With Diversity® certification teaches you how to conduct your business with sensitivity to all client profiles and build a business plan to successfully serve them.

Required of all REALTORS®, this 2.5 hour course heightens awareness of the key tenets of the Code of Ethics and

encourages REALTORS® to view their Code of Ethics as a living, viable guide in their daily dealings with clients, customers, and the public

 This course is designed to educate real estate professionals on the range of affordable housing opportunities and clients seeking them. 

  Learn about the tools needed to deal with short sales on both the buying and listing side; the process, ethics, laws, contracts and credit issues involved; and how to best approach lenders.  

Learn marketing and lead generation techniques to help build a sustainable real estate business.

Enhance your skills in pricing properties, creating CMAs, working with appraisers, and guiding clients through the anxieties and misperceptions they often have about home values with NAR’s PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor) certification.

Instill safety awareness and habits as second nature so that real estate professionals—as well as their clients and

customers—know how to avert or respond to dangerous situations and avoid

harm as they practice their profession.

Gain insight into the roles of a REALTOR® Association's Grievance Committee,

Professional Standards Committee, and Board of Directors in regard to ethics and arbitration disputes. Learn the duties of a panelist and review procedures and possible outcomes.

The SFR® certification  teaches real estate professionals to work with distressed sellers and the finance, tax, and legal professionals who can help them, qualify sellers for short sales, develop a short sale package, negotiate with lenders, safeguard your commission, limit risk, and protect buyers.

The Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) Designation educates REALTORS® on how to profitably and ethically serve the real estate needs of the fastest growing market in real estate, clients age 50+. By earning this designation, you gain access to valuable member benefits, useful resources, and networking opportunities to help you in your business.
